Founder and CEO
Marcia M. Spence
Marcia M. Spence is a multiple award-winning woman, a best-selling author, writer, editor, publisher, community activist, transformational coach and writing coach, with over 15 years of experience in the publishing and creative industries.
As the founder of an independent publishing house, Marcia has worked with authors globally and has supported the publication of more than 350 books over the past decade, championing ethical storytelling, lived experience and authentic voice. Her work spans memoir, life writing, fiction and non-fiction, with a particular focus on supporting writers from underrepresented backgrounds.
Widely known as “The Author’s Midwife” and “The Memoir Motivator,” Marcia specialises in guiding new and established writers through the often complex and emotional process of developing and shaping their stories. Her approach is grounded in care, integrity and transformation, helping writers to move from idea to finished book with clarity and confidence.
Alongside her publishing work, Marcia is a respected trainer and mentor, having supported three publishing businesses to establish, grow and professionalise their operations. Her expertise extends beyond book production to the strategic development of book businesses and author brands, helping writers and publishers build sustainable, values-led enterprises. Marcia works closely with authors to clarify their positioning, develop long-term publishing strategies and align their books with speaking, coaching and community impact. Through mentoring, workshops and one-to-one support, she empowers writers to move beyond single-book thinking and towards purposeful, income-generating literary careers. Her work is grounded in integrity, inclusivity and legacy, ensuring that authors are equipped not only to publish, but to thrive.
Beyond publishing, Marcia is a committed community activist and transformational coach, using storytelling as a tool for healing, empowerment and legacy-building. Through her leadership of LIT – Literary Inspirational Trailblazers, she continues to create platforms that recognise, nurture and elevate powerful voices, ensuring meaningful stories are seen, heard and preserved.

Fredi Nwaka
Fredi is the author of the best-selling book BOY, a raw and compelling debut that has resonated widely for its honesty, emotional depth and cultural relevance. The book marks an important contribution to contemporary storytelling, offering insight into personal growth, survival and self-reflection, and has established Fredi as a distinctive literary voice.
Alongside his writing, Fredi has built a respected career in film, working across directing, producing and storytelling for screen. His film work centres authentic narratives, often drawing on real-life experience to challenge stereotypes and amplify underrepresented voices. Through film, he has created impactful projects that combine artistic vision with social commentary.
In addition to his work as an author and filmmaker, Fredi is an accomplished creative entrepreneur, building and leading projects across publishing, film and live platforms. He has worked extensively as a story consultant and ghostwriter, supporting individuals and organisations to shape powerful narratives with clarity, authenticity and impact. Fredi also specialises in transforming life stories into screen-ready concepts, working with writers to adapt books, memoirs and real-life experiences into scripts, treatments and screenplays. His entrepreneurial work bridges literature and film, helping stories move confidently from page to screen while retaining emotional truth and cultural relevance. Through this cross-disciplinary approach, Fredi continues to create opportunities for writers and creatives to expand their reach, visibility and creative legacy. Fredi has been recognised for his work winning multiple awards throughout his career.
As a cultural leader, Fredi is passionate about creating platforms that elevate new voices and open doors for others.
